will we perform? -
Cruise Directors schedule entertainment approximately 21 days
prior to sailing. Groups will be informed as soon as Stars at Sea receives
information from the ship. Typically performances take place
between 4 pm and 11 pm following a port of call or between 11 am
and 11 pm on 'at-sea days. Rehearsals are
typically in the early morning |
| Can
performance times change after being scheduled?
- Yes! Although it happens
very rarely (>1% per year), Royal Caribbean reserves the right
to change performance times. Shipboard programming is dynamic and
may change due to any number of reasons. Weather, guest
entertainer (professional ), Royal Caribbean Production rehearsals
etc. |

will we perform? -
Typically (>99%), performances take place in the main show lounge. Cruise
Directors have final say on location |
| Where do I
sit in the dining room? -
Groups are typically blocked
together in the dining room. Please consult the Maitre d'
shipboard to confirm or change table assignment |

triple and quad stateroom bigger? -
No, quad, triple and double staterooms (category 'K' quad vs. 'k'
double) are the same size.
Stateroom categories (different decks or inside / outside) however
may vary |
| What's
the difference between inside and outside staterooms? -
Outside staterooms have a window, inside staterooms do not |
| Are
inside and outside staterooms the same size? -
Typically, inside staterooms are slightly smaller than outside
rooms. The average difference is less than 10 sq. ft. |

the difference between a stateroom and a cabin? -
Marketing! Corporate America believes consumers perceive
greater value when purchasing a 'stateroom' opposed to a 'cabin' |
| Where
are the beds in triple and quad staterooms? -
Every stateroom has two lower beds that can be
configured separate (twin), or together (queen). The third and
fourth twin beds will retract from the wall or ceiling |

rate much cheaper. Is this true? -
No! Royal Caribbean does not offer a 'children rate'. They do
offer a discounted rate for the third and fourth guest in any
stateroom regardless of age. For ease of calculation, your group
leader will supply you with quad, triple and double pricing. 3rd
and 4th person discounts are included in you quad and triple
price. The formula used is simply: (Guest 1 +2 + 3 + 4) / 4) +
port service fees + governmental tax. |

| When
do we pay gratuities? -
During the last day of the cruise, your stateroom attendant will
leave envelopes in your room. Simply insert your gratuity and give
to the recipient. Also, for your convenience, gratuities can be

is the drinking age on a Royal Caribbean Ship? -
Royal Caribbean's policy states: alcoholic beverages will not be
served, while a vessel is at sea, to guests under 21 years of age. In U.S. ports, the minimum
drinking age is 21. Royal Caribbean reserves the right to refuse
the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. An individuals age on
the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire
cruise vacation. Guests may not provide their own liquor. beer,
wine or any other alcoholic beverages |
